Jelly Rollโ€™s Journey: From Audacy Support to Riptide Festival Headline

Jelly Roll, reflecting on his journey, noted Audacyโ€™s support for his music, saying, โ€œAudacy was the station that championed โ€˜Son of a Sinner.โ€™ They went first; the rest of the country was lagging behind. No one knew and it was really hard. Itโ€™s funny looking back where we are today. We were taking โ€˜Son of a Sinnerโ€™ to Country radio, we were met with a lot of resistance, and Audacy gave us zeroโ€ฆ and I think thatโ€™s how I ended up at Riptide. And itโ€™s even cooler that this got to happen on my birthday, my third No. 1 in Country radio, and Iโ€™m doing the show with the company that got me to Country radio first. Something poetic about that.โ€
