From Director Andrew Ahn comes a heartwarming comedy about a chosen family navigating the challenges of family expectations, queerness, and cultural identity. Angela and her partner Lee have struggled with IVF treatments and can’t afford another round. Meanwhile, their friend Min, a corporate heir with a soon-to-expire student visa, proposes a green card marriage in exchange for funding Lee’s IVF.
But when Min’s skeptical grandmother arrives from Korea unannounced, she demands an extravagant wedding. This new take on Ang Lee’s beloved romantic comedy is filled with humor and heart, featuring an ensemble cast including Bowen Yang, Academy Award nominee Lily Gladstone, Kelly Marie Tran, Han Gi-chan, Joan Chen, and Academy Award winner Youn Yuh-jung.
