Amanda Kloots on Having โa lot of first datesโ Wednesday on โThe Talkโ Amanda Kloots weighs in on author and life coach Jay Shettyโs take that couples watching TV together is the โlowest form of intimacyโ and slowly killing relationships. Kloots opens up, โI have an interesting perspective on this because Iโm out in this dating world, so I donโt have a partner at home that Iโm watching TV with, right. And I think because of going on a lot of first dates that are usually, like you know, fun. For instance, I had this guy recently take me on row boats in Echo Park, I mean, adorable first date.

Or like pinball, or the arcade, or bowling. And it is fun, because youโre out with the person, youโre laughing, youโre making jokes, youโre trying new things. So, it brings a very intimate, you know, feeling.โ She adds, โWhen youโre married or youโve been dating someone for a long time, youโre like what do you want to do tonight, letโs just sit on the couch tonight and watch an episode of dah, dah, dahโฆbut when youโre first dating you would never say thatโฆso heโs right. I think heโs right.โ
