It was announced today that multi-award-winning artist, singer, songwriter, and producer Raphael Saadiq has signed with Tyler Childs at Forward Artist Management.

Saadiq has been a monumental force in popular music since he came on the scene with his band Tony! Toni! Tonรฉ! Most recently, Saadiq co-wrote and produced both of Beyoncรฉโs latest singles, โTexas HoldโEm,โ this weekโs Billboard Hot 100 Chart topper, and โ16 Carriages.โ Saadiq also won a Grammy last year for Best R&B Song for Beyoncรฉโs โCuff It,โ a song he co-wrote and produced featured on Renaissance. As a solo artist, his latest endeavor is the critically lauded album, Jimmy Lee. Saadiq co-wrote the Oscar nominated song โMighty Riverโ from the film Mudbound, with Mary J. Blige and Tara Stinson, and at the end of 2023, he revisited Tony! Toni! Tonรฉ for the first time in 25 years for a sold-out, national theater tour. Tyler Childs also manages RZA and The Wu-Tang Clan who launched their residency at the Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas earlier this month, with two more dates scheduled on March 22nd and 23rd, and more to be announced in the coming weeks. The Wu Tang residency, the first ever hip-hop theater Vegas residency, is a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the birth of hip hop. The residency was the brainchild of RZA, who Childs has represented for over 15 years.
The Wu-Tang Clan also recently enjoyed an extraordinary run with Nas on โNew York State of Mind Tour,โ which was nominated twice for Pollstarโs โHip-Hop Tour of the Year.โ The tour sold out arenas worldwide across 60 dates and 20 countries, including shows at such iconic venues as the Hollywood Bowl, The O2 Arena in London, and Barclayโs Center in Brooklyn.

Childs previously served as Vice President of A&R/Creative at Sony ATV Music Publishing and worked with a roster of A-list artists and songwriters including Ilsey Juber (Panic at the Discoโs โHigh Hopes,โ Shawn Mendesโ โMercy,โ and Mark Ronson & Miley Cyrusโ โNothing Breaks Like a Heartโ), Walk The Moonโs โShut Up and Dance,โ Imagine Dragonsโ โWhatever it Takes,โ and Pitbull featuring Ne-Yoโs โTime of Our Lives.โ Other notable artists he worked with in this capacity include Clairo, James Blake, Tegan and Sara, and many others.
