In the action-comedy Heads of State, UK Prime Minister Sam Clarke (Idris Elba) and U.S. President Will Derringer (John Cena) have a highly public, yet intense rivalry that threatens their countries’ “special relationship.” However, when they find themselves targeted by a powerful and ruthless foreign adversary—one who proves a formidable match for their security forces—the two leaders are reluctantly forced to rely on each other for survival.
Together with the brilliant MI6 agent Noel Bisset (Priyanka Chopra Jonas), they are thrust into a high-stakes mission to uncover and stop a global conspiracy that threatens the entire free world. The film also features Paddy Considine, Stephen Root, Carla Gugino, Jack Quaid, and Sarah Niles, and is directed by Ilya Naishuller.
