Tonight, in Hollywood, stars and filmmakers turned out to celebrate the world premiere of Marvel Studios’ “Thunderbolts*”. Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Wyatt Russell, Hannah John-Kamen, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Lewis Pullman, Olga Kurylenko, Chris Bauer, Geraldine Viswanathan and Wendell Pierce greeted enthusiastic fans and were joined on the red carpet by director Jake Schreier, producer Kevin Feige, executive producers Louis D’Esposito, Brian Chapek and Jason Tamez, writers Eric Pearson and Joanna Calo, and the members of Son Lux—Ryan Lott, Ian Chang and Rafiq Bhatia—who scored the film. In “Thunderbolts*” Marvel Studios assembles an unconventional team of antiheroes—Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, Ghost, Taskmaster and John Walker. After finding themselves ensnared in a death trap set by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, these disillusioned castoffs must embark on a dangerous mission that will force them to confront the darkest corners of their pasts. Will this dysfunctional group tear themselves apart, or find redemption and unite as something much more before it’s too late?
The film stars Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russell, Olga Kurylenko, Lewis Pullman, Geraldine Viswanathan, Chris Bauer, Wendell Pierce, with David Harbour, with Hannah John-Kamen, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
Jake Schreier directs “Thunderbolts*” and Kevin Feige is the producer. Louis D’Esposito, Brian Chapek and Jason Tamez serve as executive producers. The screenplay was written by Eric Pearson and Joanna Calo, and the story is by Eric Pearson.
Marvel Studios’ “Thunderbolts*” releases this Friday, May 2, in U.S. theaters. Tickets are available wherever tickets are sold.
