In her new capacity at AMPAL, Martin will oversee a broad spectrum of initiatives, including communications, event coordination, sponsorships, and enhancing the association’s digital presence. Her extensive background positions her uniquely to champion and elevate the music publishing sector. ​

AMPAL’s Legacy and Leadership

Established in 1956, AMPAL represents over 50 music publishers, accounting for more than 90% of the economic value of the music publishing sector in Australasia. The association recently underwent leadership changes, with Damian Rinaldi stepping in as CEO on July 1, 2024, succeeding Matthew O’Sullivan. Additionally, Clive Hodson was elected as chair of AMPAL and the Australasia and Asia global regional board of ICMP, with Karen Hamilton serving as deputy chair.
