WHAT: iHeartMedia’s 103.5 KTU, in partnership with Key Food, is proud to announce the successful collection of 670 coats through the KTU Coat Drive. The donated coats were delivered to The Bowery Mission, a nonprofit supporting homeless New Yorkers, and The Prodigal Center, a free pantry and clothing distribution service in the Bronx.
WHEN: Donations were accepted from December to January at Key Food and its affiliated supermarkets. Each week, 450 coats were delivered to The Bowery Mission from December 23 to January 26, while 220 coats were delivered to The Prodigal Center on February 14.
WHY: With winter temperatures dropping, the need for warm clothing is urgent. KTU and its partners have united to provide warmth and comfort to those in need.
