Disney+ Releases Photos from New York Screening of ‘Andor’ Season 2 (Photos)

Disney+ has released new photos from the New York screening of Episodes 8-9 from Andor Season 2, celebrated for its critical acclaim and “certified fresh” status. Stars Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Ben Mendelsohn, and Benjamin Bratt, along with writer Beau Willimon, attended the screening and participated in a Q&A session moderated by Oscar Isaac.

Additionally, Disney+ dropped a third round of clips and images from Episodes 7-9 of Andor Season 2, which began streaming on April 22. Episodes 7-9, along with the first six episodes, are now available on Disney+.

Andor Season 2 Declassified: Star Wars is also streaming on Disney+ and YouTube in the Extras section. These behind-the-scenes specials, which air alongside each block of three episodes, offer exclusive insights from the cast and crew. This week’s “Welcome to the Rebellion” delves into Episodes 7-9.

Season 2 of Andor sees Cassian Andor’s transformation as the Rebel Alliance’s war draws closer. Betrayals, sacrifices, and political intrigue intensify as Cassian evolves from a cynical loner to a hero. Set five years before Rogue One, Andor explores the journey of Cassian Andor, a pivotal character in the Star Wars universe.

Andor Season 2 stars Diego Luna, Stellan Skarsgård, Genevieve O’Reilly, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, Adria Arjona, Alan Tudyk, Faye Marsay, Varada Sethu, Elizabeth Dulau, along with Ben Mendelsohn and Forest Whitaker.

Created by Tony Gilroy, the series is executive produced by Gilroy, Kathleen Kennedy, Sanne Wohlenberg, Diego Luna, Luke Hull, and John Gilroy. The season features episodes written by Tony Gilroy, Beau Willimon, Dan Gilroy, and Tom Bissell, and directed by Ariel Kleiman, Janus Metz, and Alonso Ruizpalacios.

The final season of Andor is now streaming on Disney+, with new episodes released weekly in four chapters.
