In a significant move for New Zealand’s indie-rock scene, The Beths have signed a worldwide publishing agreement with Concord Music Publishing ANZ.
A Band on the Rise
Formed in Auckland in 2014, The Beths have garnered international acclaim for their infectious indie-pop sound. Their 2022 album, Expert In A Dying Field, showcased their growth as artists and solidified their global presence. Since its release, the band has embarked on an extensive tour, playing over 200 shows across North America, the UK, Europe, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.
Critical Acclaim and Achievements
The Beths’ music has resonated with audiences worldwide, earning them widespread radio airplay and press support. They’ve graced prestigious festival stages, including Coachella Music & Arts Festival, and have toured with notable acts like The National, Death Cab For Cutie, and The Postal Service. In 2023, they were honored with New Zealand’s APRA Silver Scroll for Expert In A Dying Field, adding to their multiple awards from the Aotearoa Music Awards, where they clinched titles such as Best Group and Best Alternative Artist in 2019, and Album of the Year, Best Group, and Best Alternative Artist in 2020.

Looking Ahead
To celebrate their new partnership, The Beths have lined up performances in Australia, with sold-out shows in Melbourne and Sydney scheduled for late March. They’ll also return to the US, with a show planned for April 16 at Los Angeles’ Largo at the Coronet.
