This just in: lauryn hill has been released from prison. L-Boogie was locked up the last three months for tax evasion. We just reported that dropped a new joint, “Consumerism” right before her release from the joint.According to the Bureau of Prisons, Lauryn Hill was released early Friday morning from the minimum security Federal Correction Institution in Danbury, Connecticut.We hope that Ms. Hill goes on to live a happy and productive life while blessing us with good music. As Kanye West said in his song “Champion,” ” lauryn hill said her heart was in Zion, I wish her heart still was in rhyming, Cause who the kids gon’ listen to, huh?I guess me if it isn’t you”I miss music like that. Not to say that it’s not being made but we don’t hear much of it on the radio. I’m just saying.
