BMI today announced the launch of Spark, an exciting new program designed to help music creators thrive throughout every stage of their career. Available to BMI songwriters, composers and producers, Spark features exclusive offers and special discounts on leading music creation tools and tech, valuable career insights, educational content and health and wellness resources, all tailored to ignite the creative development, lifestyles and well-being of BMI’s affiliates.
BMI’s music creators can access Spark through the company’s online services portal for more information about each of the special offers available to them. As the program develops and expands, more partners and offerings will be added to even further serve BMI’s family of songwriters, composers and producers.

Career Development: BMI affiliates will get access to exclusive offers and special discounts on music creation tools, services to better distribute and manage their music, as well as resources to help grow their brand and expand their reach. Inaugural partners include BandLab, Cosynd, DISCO for Artists, Disc Makers, FedEx, LANDR, Manny’s, Output and Rise.
Learn & Connect: BMI’s music creators can sharpen their skills with special access to educational resources and exclusive content that will help them learn about the music industry, refine their craft, and unlock their potential with expert advice from Berklee Online, School of DISCO, Rise and more.
Lifestyle and Well-being: Spark also focuses on the well-being of creatives with curated resources from organizations offering vital health and wellness services tailored for music creators and industry professionals. Featured inaugural partners include Music Health Alliance, Porter’s Call, Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, and discounts on Nashville’s Hutton Hotel and its famed Writers Studio.
In order to make the Spark program as widely available as possible, BMI also announced that it will no longer be charging the application fee for new writers or composers seeking to join BMI,
effective March 1.
