America at Night Names McGraw Milhaven as New Weeknight Host

McGraw Milhaven, the longtime morning talk host at KTRS-AM in St. Louis, is stepping onto the national stage. Beginning December 1, he’ll become the new host of America at Night, the nationally syndicated Westwood One program heard live weeknights from 9:00 p.m. to midnight ET.

America at Night Names McGraw Milhaven as New Weeknight Host

The show, known for its mix of interviews, commentary, and listener interaction, has been shaped over the years by talk radio icons Larry King and Jim Bohannon. Milhaven says he grew up listening to them, too intimidated in high school to call in, and now finds himself taking over the very program they helped define.

Milhaven’s approach blends sharp questions with an emphasis on storytelling. He says his focus each night will be simple: find compelling stories, bring on compelling guests, and share a few stories of his own.

The show will continue its wide-ranging coverage of politics, current events, sports, entertainment, and the topics that spark conversation across the country.

Westwood One leadership describes Milhaven as a host who knows how to connect with audiences. Collin Jones, the company’s president, says Milhaven’s understanding of national issues and his journalistic approach make him the right person to guide America at Night into its next chapter.

With a national spotlight ahead, Milhaven steps into one of talk radio’s most iconic late-night roles — aiming to inform, challenge, and engage listeners across the country.
