BMI brought together the music industry on Tuesday (6/10) for a rooftop celebration at its Nashville headquarters, honoring the No. 1 hit “Boys Back Home” by Sony Music Nashville and Play It Again Music’s Dylan Marlowe and Curb Records’ Dylan Scott. Written by Marlowe (BMI), Seth Ennis (BMI), and Joe Fox (SESAC/Producer), the GOLD-certified track marks Marlowe’s first No. 1 as an artist and second as a songwriter.

The event, hosted by BMI, ASCAP, and SESAC and emceed by BMI’s Josh Tomlinson, reunited Marlowe, Scott, and the co-writers to commemorate the song’s success. Ennis was honored with a custom Taylor 210e DLX guitar to mark his first No. 1 as a BMI songwriter.
Sponsored by Studio Bank, the event also featured a special donation presentation by Ron Cox on behalf of Marlowe and the songwriters to the Georgia Natural Resources Foundation, which supports the Georgia Department of Natural Resources in preserving the state’s natural, historic, and cultural resources for future generations.
